Worship Ministries – Worship Leaders
Acolyte – Carrying the Light of Christ into the sanctuary at the beginning of a worship service and back out into the world at its conclusion is an honor. Being an acolyte is open to all worshipers who are at least eight years old or in 2nd grade.
Lay Readers – The AUMC team of lay readers welcomes those who enjoy sharing God’s story through the reading of Scripture. Please step forward if you would like to read in worship!
Sound Technician – Every worship service and special event needs the services of a hands-on sound technician. If you have good hearing and would like to work with the sound equipment, come help! We need some extra hands!
There are many additional worship ministry leader roles – altar guild person, sanctuary dressing/design artist, greeter, and usher, to name a few. Each ministry area is always open to those who have a desire to serve the Lord in a very special way.
